HOW MUCH IS AN ESTATE PLAN?

Why Cost Matters

“How much does an estate plan cost?”

It’s one of the first questions we hear — and it’s a good one.

The truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all price because there’s no one-size-fits-all family. Your life, your assets, and your goals are unique — and your plan should be, too.

If a lawyer can quote you a price over the phone or by email without learning anything about you, your family, or your assets, that’s a red flag.

Estate planning done that way often results in a stack of documents that don’t actually work when your family needs them most.

Too often, families “shop” for estate planning the way they’d shop for a service — focusing on price rather than purpose. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how many end up with plans that fail.

At Kith + Kin Law, we do things differently. We’ve designed and priced our estate planning options at the intersection of affordability and effectiveness — so you get a plan that fits your family and actually works when it matters most.

How We Begin

Every client relationship starts with a Life & Legacy Planning Session — a working meeting where we get you more financially organized than you’ve likely ever been.

Even if you decide not to move forward, the preparation alone is invaluable. You’ll create a complete inventory of your assets and ensure your family knows exactly what you have and where it’s located.

During your session, we’ll:

  • Review everything you own and everyone you love.

  • Show you exactly what would happen under your current plan — or, if you don’t have one, under the state’s default plan for you.

  • Help you identify what’s missing or misaligned and how to correct it.

If you already have an estate plan, we’ll conduct an Estate Plan review to confirm it still works for your family and your goals.

You Choose the Level of Planning That Fits You

Your Life & Legacy Planning Session is a $750 value — or $950 if we’re reviewing an existing estate plan.

But here’s the great part: if you complete your preparation before the meeting and keep your appointment, we’ll waive the session fee entirely. Your commitment to being prepared saves us time — and we pass that savings directly back to you.

By the end of our session, you’ll make informed, educated, and empowered decisions for the people you love — not just choose a plan based on price.

If you’re ready to take that next step and plan with confidence, I’d love to meet you.
