Estate Planning Education for DC Organizations and Communities

Kelly I. Spencer brings estate planning out of the law office and into the room — presenting plain-language education that empowers attendees to understand what they need, what they are missing, and what to do next.

Why Community Education Is Part of This Practice

Most people do not go looking for an estate planning attorney until something forces their hand. A health event, a loss, a new baby — something that makes planning feel urgent. By that point, the options available to them may already be narrowed.

Community education changes that. When a room full of people walks away from a presentation understanding what a will does, what happens to their children without a guardianship designation, or what DC's probate process actually looks like — they are better equipped to take action before a crisis requires it.

Kelly presents estate planning as something empowering and accessible, not complicated or heavy. Plain language throughout. Content tailored to the specific audience and their circumstances. No sales pitch in a slide deck — just real education that stands on its own.
